The 12th Seoul International Dance Festival

Get your dancing shoes on! The fantastic Seoul International Dance Festival is returning

 for its twelfth edition in October, and is set to host seventeen works by dance companies

from nine countries.

`SIDance`, as the festival is sometimes known, was introduced in 1998 in an effort to

introduce Korean dance to the world, as well as enhance local performances with the

 introduction of worldwide trends. SIDance has since become not just a showcase of

top-quality dance, but a global event in which performers from around the world can

meet and share information and techniques.

This year`s festival will be held at three venues - Seoul Arts Center, Sogang University

and the Goyang Aramnuri Center - and will be held from October 5th through 24th.
